Tekno Bumi Sdn Bhd successfully completed the Product Inspection (PI) process for Contract No. TNB214/2025 at the manufacturing facility of Michaud in Fouchana, Tunisia, on 19 January 2026.
The inspection was carried out over a period of three days at the factory and involved comprehensive evaluations of the products, manufacturing processes, quality control systems, and production standards to ensure full compliance with Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB) technical and contractual requirements.
Representing MICHAUD during the inspection were Mr. Christophe Puisais of MICHAUD Export, France, together with Mr. Sofiene Ghozzi and Mr. Siala Wassim of MICHAUD Tunisie. The inspection was witnessed by TNB Inspector, Ms. Aishah Ali. Tekno Bumi was represented by its Chairman, Mr. Azhar Khalid.
The Product Inspection (PI) forms an essential requirement under TNB contracts to ensure that all products supplied to TNB meet the highest standards of quality, reliability, safety, and performance. The inspection process also verifies that the manufacturing facility possesses the necessary technical capabilities, production capacity, quality assurance systems, and manufacturing competency to consistently produce products in accordance with TNB specifications and international industry standards.
Throughout the inspection, detailed assessments were conducted on the production line, raw material handling, assembly procedures, testing methods, calibration processes, and final product quality control. This rigorous process reflects TNB’s commitment towards maintaining a highly reliable and efficient electrical distribution network across Malaysia.
