Indications:
Adjunct to diet and lifestyle for primary hypercholesterolemia (including heterozygous familial type) or mixed dyslipidemia
Reduction of cardiovascular risk in patients with coronary heart disease (CHD) or high-risk conditions (e.g. diabetes, history of stroke, atherosclerosis)
Usual dose: 20 /mg once daily in the evening, taken orally with or without food
Dose may be adjusted up to 80 /mg/day evening dose depending on LDL-C response and tolerance
Administration: Swallow whole with water; do not crush or chew. Take at a fixed time daily (preferably after dinner and before bedtime)
Avoid excessive grapefruit juice (>1 /L/day) due to interaction risk
