Courses (overview)

• The Electronic Information Engineering (Chinese-taught) undergraduate programme (4 years) is delivered in Chinese and covers circuit principles, analogue electronics, digital electronics, signals and systems, electromagnetic fields and waves, communication principles, digital signal processing, embedded system design, microcomputer principles and interfaces, electronic system design, RF circuit design, information theory and coding, and graduation thesis, building foundations in electronic information engineering, communications and signal processing, and electronic system design and applications through coursework and projects (aligned with “Core subjects” and the application process below; modules follow programme notices).

Career pathways (overview)

• Graduates may pursue roles in airlines and MRO maintenance enterprises, airport and line maintenance units, aviation manufacturing and component companies, and airworthiness and maintenance engineering management organisations, including aircraft system fault diagnosis support, structural repair and non-destructive testing support, powerplant maintenance support, and maintenance management support, subject to employers’ requirements and recruitment policies.
• They may also pursue further postgraduate study in aircraft manufacturing engineering, aeronautical and astronautical science and technology, transportation engineering, and mechanical engineering, and related interdisciplinary MA/PhD programmes, subject to admissions.
