The MSA Latchways® Sealed Self-Retracting Lifeline (SRL) is a premium fall protection device specifically engineered for use in harsh offshore and industrial environments, including offshore wind turbine foundations, oil & gas platforms, and marine applications. This 15 m (50 ft) Type 1 model features a 5 mm (7×19) stainless steel cable and a completely sealed housing with IP69K ingress protection, preventing water, dust, and contaminants from entering the critical internal components. It incorporates MSA's patented Constant Force® energy absorption technology and Full Contact™ locking mechanism to provide consistent, reliable fall arrest performance while requiring minimal maintenance. The Type 1 version is intended for use on fixed platforms and upper ladder systems.
