Content (Composition)

• Active Ingredient: Hydrocortisone 1% w/w — a mild corticosteroid used to relieve inflammation, redness, and itching associated with various skin conditions.
• Excipients: Cetomacrogol, white soft paraffin, chlorocresol (0.12% w/w) as preservative, purified water, liquid paraffin, and cetostearyl alcohol.

• Approved Uses: Xepa Xepacort Cream is indicated for the relief of inflammatory and pruritic manifestations of corticosteroid-responsive dermatoses, including:
  • Mild to moderate eczema
  • Diaper rash (under medical supervision)
  • Insect bites and stings
  • Allergic reactions to detergents, bleaches, soaps, jewelry, and cosmetics
  • Irritant and allergic contact dermatitis

• Application: Apply a thin layer to the affected area of clean, dry, and intact skin. Gently massage to facilitate absorption.
• Frequency: Use two to four times daily, gradually reducing frequency as improvement occurs.
• Precautions: Avoid prolonged use or application over large areas, especially on thinner skin or under occlusive dressings. Do not use on the face, eyes, or genital areas unless directed by a doctor. Avoid use on broken or infected skin, including cold sores, acne, and athlete's foot. Use with caution in children, infants, and pregnant women.
• Storage: Store below 30°C. For external use only. Keep out of reach of children.
