Engineering Selection by Thermal Profile

Standard ducting loses its mechanical properties as temperature rises. We select materials and fabrication techniques based on the continuous operating temperature and thermal "shock" cycles of your process.

Thermal Expansion Management:

Metals expand significantly at high temperatures. A 10-meter run of steel can expand by several centimeters when heated to 500°C. We integrate Multi-Ply Stainless Steel Bellows or slip-expansion joints to absorb this movement, preventing the duct from buckling or tearing its wall supports.

Radiant Heat Protection (Lagging):

To protect workers and reduce the load on your factory's ambient cooling, we apply High-Temperature Rockwool Lagging (up to 100mm thick) finished with an embossed aluminum or stainless steel jacket. This ensures the external surface remains at a safe "touch temperature" regardless of the internal heat.

Fully Penetrated Welded Joints:

Mechanical seams (like Pittsburgh locks) fail under thermal stress. All EKG high-temperature ducts are Continuous TIG or MIG Welded. We utilize specialized welding rods that match the thermal expansion coefficients of the parent metal, ensuring the joints never crack during heat-up cycles.
