• The Mechatronic Engineering (Chinese-taught) undergraduate programme (4 years) is delivered in Chinese and covers mechatronic system design, mechanical fundamentals, electronic technology, microcontroller principles, sensing and detection technology, robotics technology, embedded system design, and control engineering, building foundations in mechatronic system design, mechanical fundamentals, electronic technology, microcontroller principles, sensing and detection technology, robotics technology, embedded system design, and control engineering through coursework and projects (aligned with “Core subjects” and the application process below; modules follow programme notices).

Career pathways (overview)

• Graduates may pursue roles in mechatronics and equipment manufacturing enterprises, automation and intelligent manufacturing, robotics and embedded systems development, electronic information and measurement and control, and R&D and technical services, including mechatronic system design and mechanical fundamentals application support, electronic technology and microcontroller principles technology support, sensing and detection technology and robotics technology coordination, and embedded system design and control engineering application support, subject to employers’ requirements and recruitment policies.
• They may also pursue further postgraduate study in mechatronic engineering, mechanical engineering, automation, control science and engineering, electronic information, and related MA/PhD programmes, subject to admissions.
