• Each capsule contains 120 /mg of orlistat, a gastrointestinal lipase inhibitor that blocks the digestion and absorption of dietary fats.

• Approved for management of obesity or overweight adults—specifically those with BMI ≥ /30 /kg/m², or BMI ≥ /27–28 /kg/m² with associated risk factors such as hypertension, type /2 diabetes, or dyslipidaemia.
• Also used to help maintain weight loss and reduce the risk of weight regain, when used together with a nutritionally balanced, low fat (≈ /30% calories), reduced calorie diet.

1. Dosage & Timing
   • Take one 120 /mg capsule by mouth with water, immediately before, during, or up to 1 hour after each main meal that contains fat.
   • Do not exceed three doses per day. Omit the dose if the meal is missed or contains no fat.
2. Dietary Guidance
   • Must be taken with a reduced calorie diet (~30% of calories from fat) distributed over three main meals.
   • Incorporate adequate dietary fiber and drink plenty of water to minimize gastrointestinal side effects.
3. Missed Dose
   • If you forget a dose, take it as soon as you remember, unless it's nearly time for your next meal. Do not double up doses.
4. Vitamin Supplementation
   • Since orlistat may reduce absorption of fat soluble vitamins (A, D, E, K) and beta carotene, take a daily multivitamin at least 2 hours before or after Aslene—or at bedtime.
5. Drug Interactions & Cautions
   • Avoid concurrent use within a few hours of certain medications, including levothyroxine, cyclosporine, warfarin, antiepileptics, amiodarone or antiretrovirals—interactions may affect absorption or efficacy.
   • Use with caution or avoid altogether if pregnant, breastfeeding, or with conditions such as cholestasis, chronic malabsorption, liver dysfunction, renal impairment, hypersensitivity, or eating disorders
