Indications

Cefuroxima STADA is prescribed to treat infections such as:

• Lower respiratory tract (e.g., pneumonia, bronchitis)

• Upper respiratory tract (e.g., sinusitis, otitis media, tonsillitis)

• Genito-urinary tract (e.g., cystitis, urethritis, pyelonephritis)

• Skin and soft tissue infections (like impetigo, furunculosis)

• Uncomplicated gonorrhoea
 

Instructions

• How to Take: Swallow tablets whole with water, with or after food to improve absorption

• Dosing Guidelines:
  • Typical adult dose: 250 /mg twice daily for most infections
  • For more serious conditions (e.g., pneumonia): 500 /mg twice daily

• Complete the Course: Continue the full prescribed course even if you feel better, to prevent bacterial resistance

• Missed Dose: If you miss one, take it as soon as possible—unless it's near your next dose; then skip the missed one. Do not double up
