Allergic rhinitis: relieves sneezing, nasal itching, discharge, congestion, ocular itching and redness.
Chronic idiopathic urticaria: reduces number and size of hives, alleviates itching, and improves sleep and daily activity.

Administration: Swallow the tablet whole; may be taken any time of day consistently. Alcohol does not potentiate effects, and there’s no interaction with food or grapefruit juice.
Precautions & contraindications:
Not for children under 12.
Use with caution in severe renal insufficiency and patients with a history of seizures.
Contraindicated in hypersensitivity to desloratadine or loratadine, pregnancy or breastfeeding, and in rare hereditary sugar intolerance disorders. Patients should monitor alertness before driving or operating machinery.
