| II. Eligibility |
1. Non-Chinese citizens, in accordance with China's Ministry of Education [Document No. 12, 2020]. 2. Aged 18-25, and have completed high school. Applicants under 18 as of September 1, 2025, must submit an official notarized guardianship certificate issued in Tianjin. The guardian must be a permanent resident of Tianjin. 3. Language requirements: IELTS 6.0 or TOEFL 80 and above (exempted for applicants from native English-speaking countries recognized by the university). 4. Good moral character, in good health, and willing to abide by Chinese laws and Tianjin University regulations. |

| III. Application Procedure |
Apply within the official application period (exact date to be confirmed with E-Square Ms. Zhong). Register and submit your application through Tianjin University's system. Upload all required materials (see below). Submit the Chemical Engineering Scholarship Application Form under the "Others" section of the application portal. Deadline: Usually early April each year (please confirm with E-Square contact). Important: Due to limited intake, applicants are strongly encouraged to apply early. |

| IV. Required Documents |
1. High school graduation certificate or notarized copy (graduating students may submit expected graduation proof). 2. Transcripts of all high school courses or international standardized test results (e.g., SAT, ACT, A-Level, AP, IB). 3. Passport information page (must be valid past March 1, 2026). 4. English or Chinese language proficiency documents. 5. Resume detailing study and work experience since high school. 6. Study plan (minimum 600 words, in English for English-taught programs). 7. Completed Foreigner Physical Examination Form, dated after Oct 1, 2024. 8. Current visa page and certificate of good academic standing (for applicants already studying in China). 9. Certificate of no criminal record (issued within 6 months). 10. Bank statement or financial guarantee. 11. Guardianship certificate if under 18 by Sept 1, 2025. 12.
