KPC Herbs Da Zao is the dried ripe fruit of the jujube tree (Fructus Jujubae). It is sweet in taste and warm in nature, entering the Spleen, Stomach (and also Heart in classical sources) meridians. In Traditional Chinese Medicine, Da Zao is used to tonify Qi and Blood, strengthen the Spleen and Stomach, harmonize and moderate formulas, nourish the blood, calm the spirit, generate fluids, and mitigate harsh properties of other herbs. It is often indicated for symptoms of weak digestion, fatigue, poor appetite, loose stools, paleness, emotional lability, restlessness or insomnia, and for general deficiency states.
Tonifies Qi and strengthens the Spleen & Stomach — helps with symptoms like fatigue, weakness, shortness of breath, reduced appetite, loose stools.
