UV PI-190 Yupo Paper is a premium, high-durability synthetic paper specifically designed for UV (Ultraviolet) printing systems. While "Yupo" is a famous brand of synthetic paper made from polypropylene, the PI-190 designation refers to its thickness and its optimization for industrial UV inkjet and UV offset printers.
Unlike the "ECO-PP190" (which is often for standard inkjet), the UV PI-190 is treated to handle the intense heat and curing process of UV lamps.
Thickness: 190 microns. This is a "heavyweight" grade, offering excellent rigidity and a premium feel.
Material: 100% Polypropylene (Synthetic). It is tree-free, waterproof, and tear-resistant.
Surface Treatment: Specifically coated for UV Inkjet and UV Offset inks. This coating ensures that the UV ink bonds instantly to the non-porous surface without smudging or "beading."
Finish: Smooth Matte White.
Durability: High resistance to chemicals, oils, and long-term UV exposure (it won't yellow or become brittle as quickly as standard paper).
Instant Curing: UV inks dry instantly on this surface under UV light, allowing for immediate finishing (cutting, folding, or packing) without waiting for the ink to "set."
Superb Dimensional Stability: It stays perfectly flat and does not shrink or warp under the heat of UV curing lamps, which is a common issue with cheaper synthetic papers.
Tear-Proof & Waterproof: Ideal for demanding environments. It cannot be ripped by hand and will not disintegrate even if submerged in water.
Excellent Opacity: Its high whiteness and density ensure that colors remain vibrant and "pop" even without a white base layer.
Premium Outdoor Posters: Bus shelter ads, street banners, and maps that must survive rain and sun.
Indoor/Outdoor POP Displays: Rigid retail signs and hanging banners in supermarkets.
Horticultural Labels: Tree tags and plant stakes that are exposed to water, soil, and direct sunlight.
Heavy-Duty Menus: Used for high-end restaurant menus that are cleaned frequently with chemicals or water.
Manuals & Guides: Industrial field manuals that need to be "indestructible."
