The EPS MCCB 2-Pole is a Moulded Case Circuit Breaker designed to protect electrical circuits from overloads and short-circuit faults in robust installations such as commercial buildings, industrial panels, main feeds, and heavy-duty circuits. The “2-Pole” configuration protects two conductors together (such as Phase + Neutral in single-phase systems or two phases in three-phase systems) and disconnects both simultaneously during a fault.
Unlike a standard miniature circuit breaker (MCB), an MCCB is capable of handling higher current ratings and higher breaking capacities (fault levels), making it suitable as a feeder breaker, main switch, or motor protection breaker.
EPS MCCBs have a thermal-magnetic trip mechanism that responds to both prolonged overloads (thermal) and sudden short circuits (magnetic), ensuring reliable protection and safety.

Choose the rated current (In) based on the continuous load current you expect (e.g., 63 A for medium loads, 100 A+ for heavier systems).
The breaking capacity (Icu) should be equal to or greater than the expected fault current at the installation point to ensure safe interruption.
