1. Structural Overview

Two supports are fixed onto the base with nuts, and their upper ends are secured to the upper beam. Two additional supports are fixed to the middle beam and operating platform, together forming a space for fixing specimens during tension, compression, and bending tests.

When oil from the pump lifts the piston, the operating platform rises, raising the two supports and the upper beam. The upper jaw and middle jaw are located on the upper beam and middle beam, respectively. The middle beam is raised or lowered by screws running on the two supports. A lift control button with up/down markings is provided.

2. Oil Cylinder and Piston

The oil cylinder and piston are the most critical components of the main body. Their contacting surfaces are precision-finished, with appropriate clearance and oil film, allowing the piston to move freely and minimizing friction. As oil flows from the pump into the cylinder, the piston rises along with the beam and operating platform until load is applied to the specimen.

Important: Oil must be kept pure and free from impurities or iron dust. Contaminants entering the cylinder via the pump or valves can damage the surface finish of the cylinder and piston, affecting test accuracy. During installation, any dirt or soil on the upper contacting surfaces of the cylinder and piston must be cleaned first.

The machine is supplied with various tension and compression accessories.


Dynamometer

1. Concept

The dynamometer consists of a digital display controller, sensor, high-pressure oil pump, and other operating components. All parts are enclosed in a simple, smooth, and aesthetically designed steel shell. Each shell surface has a door for inspection, adjustment, and maintenance, while also keeping bearings and precision parts clean and in good working condition.

2. High-Pressure Oil Pump and Motor

The high-pressure oil pump and motor are flange-connected to the oil tank cover. The pump is an axial plunger type consisting of seven sets of pistons. The pistons and sleeves have high surface finish and precise fit, ensuring high pressure capability and minimal oil leakage.

3. Operating Panel

The high-pressure pump motor button, power button, and indicator lights are all installed on the dynamometer panel. The feed oil valve (also known as the pressure regulating valve) controls oil flow from the pump to the cylinder and regulates loading speed. The reflux valve unloads pressure, allowing oil in the working cylinder to return to the tank.

4. Hydraulic Drive System

Oil from the tank passes through a strainer into the pump, then is delivered to the feed valve via the pump pipeline.
