PM1000 Series Basic Power & Energy Meters

Schneider Electric PM1000 Series power meters are cost-effective basic multi-function meters for electrical installation monitoring. They provide the essential readings required for panel metering, load studies, equipment monitoring, preventive maintenance and generator panel monitoring.

The PM1000 Series is available in two main versions: PM1000 without communication and PM1200 with RS485 Modbus communication. Both versions provide Class 1 energy metering, LED display, analogue load bar, demand values, energy values, THD visibility, run hours and ON hours.

Product Overview

PM1000 Series meters are suitable where a reliable entry-level digital power meter is required. They replace multiple analogue meters by showing current, voltage, frequency, power, power factor, energy, demand and total harmonic distortion from one compact panel meter.

PM1000 is suitable for local display-only applications. PM1200 adds RS485 Modbus communication, making it suitable for EMS, BMS, SCADA, gateway systems and IoTWatt 4.0 integration.

Positioning: PM1000 Series meters are suitable for basic panel metering, load monitoring, demand review, energy consumption tracking and simple remote monitoring through the PM1200 RS485 model.

Typical Monitoring Architecture

PM1000 Series meters are installed at electrical panels. PM1000 is mainly used for local display. PM1200 can be connected through RS485 Modbus to a gateway, PLC, EMS, BMS, SCADA or IoTWatt 4.0 platform.
