CV-8014 Clear Printing Vinyl is a standard-grade, transparent adhesive vinyl used for wide-format digital printing. Similar to the "ECO-8012" series, the naming convention typically indicates its physical build: an 80-micron film paired with a 140-gsm backing liner.

In the hierarchy of clear vinyl, this is considered a "high-utility" or "economy-plus" material. It is more robust than entry-level clear vinyl because of its heavier backing paper.

• Film Thickness: 80 microns. This makes it thin and flexible, ideal for flat or very slightly curved surfaces.

• Liner: 140 gsm (grams per square meter) double-PE coated paper.

  • The 140g liner is the standout feature: It is thicker than the standard 120g liner, providing superior flatness and preventing the vinyl from buckling or "tunneling" when exposed to the high heat of solvent printers.
