Does this plate support stereo audio? Not by default. This configuration is primarily for Video. If you need stereo sound, you would typically use the auxiliary RCA for one channel and requires another port for the second. For full AV + Stereo, we recommend our VGA + 3.5mm Stereo or 3-RCA (Y/R/W) plates.
Can I use the RGB ports for standard Yellow/White/Red AV? Physically, yes, but the color-coding (Red/Green/Blue) is standard for Component Video. Using them for standard AV might be confusing for the end-user.
Will it fit a standard PVC wall box? Because this plate has 5 thick cables connecting to the back, we strongly recommend using an extra-deep back box to allow for proper cable management and to avoid bending the wires too sharply.
