Will this work with a condenser microphone?
Note: This adaptor is typically for Dynamic Microphones. Most 1/4" mono inputs (like guitar amps) do not provide Phantom Power (+48V) required for condenser mics.
Will my mic sound different?
Because this converts a balanced signal to unbalanced, you may notice more noise over very long cable runs. For standard lengths (under 5-10 meters), the audio quality remains excellent.
Is this the same as a "Stereo" adaptor?
No. This is a Mono (TS) adaptor. If you are plugging into a balanced studio interface or a stereo jack, we recommend our TRS (Stereo) version to maintain signal balance.
