Mixing: Stir the paint thoroughly before use to ensure the metallic pigments are well-distributed.
Application Method: Apply using a high-quality Brush, Roller, or Conventional Air Spray.
Spray: Dilute with Acrylic 3000 Thinner as required to achieve the desired atomization.
Cleaning: All equipment should be cleaned with Nippon Acrylic 3000 Thinner immediately after use.
Note: Avoid application during wet weather or high humidity (above 85%) as it may affect the metallic luster.
For Masonry (Brick, Plaster, Fiber Board):
Sealer (1 Coat): Hydro Primer / 5200 Wall Sealer / 5400 Wall Sealer.
Topcoat (2 Coats): Metallic Paint.
For Metal (Ferrous):
Primer (1 Coat): Aquatec Red Oxide Primer / 8048 Zinc Phosphate Primer.
Topcoat (2 Coats): Metallic Paint.
For Wood:
Primer (1 Coat): Hydro Primer or Aqua Primer Sealer Undercoat.
Topcoat (2 Coats): Metallic Paint.
General Cleaning: Surfaces must be dry, clean, and free from dirt, grease, oil, and loose matter.
Removal: Remove all loose, defective paint or powdery residues, loose chalk, and dust by scraping or wire brushing.
Repair: Fill cracks and uneven surfaces with a suitable filler (e.g., Multi-purpose Joint Compound). Smoothen repaired areas with sandpaper before priming.
Fungus/Algae: Treat affected areas with Nippon Anti-Fungus Solution and leave for at least 2 hours before washing off.
Moisture Content: For masonry, ensure moisture content is below 16% (measured by protimeter) and alkalinity is below pH 9.
Metal Preparation: For rusted steel, mechanical cleaning to St 3 (wire brushing/grinding) is required before priming.
