Digital Ratio-Pyrometers with fiber optics.

The Impac® ISR 12-LO and IGAR 12-LO pyrometers leverage a two-color method by using two adjacent wavelengths for calculating temperature. This approach allows for temperature measurements to be independent of object emissivity over wide ranges and even when objects are smaller than the spot size. Versatility is further enhanced with an optional one-color mode that operates similarly to conventional pyrometers, and a dedicated metal mode for measurements on metals and alloys with unknown K-factors (emissivity slopes). A specialized variant, the Impac ISR 12-LO/GS series, is designed as a foundry system for pouring stream measurement. Suitable for automatic or semi-automatic pouring machines, it consistently displays the temperature after each pouring process.
