Schneider Electric PowerLogic PM8000 Series meters are advanced power quality and high-accuracy energy meters for critical electrical networks. The range provides Class 0.2S energy accuracy, power quality event capture, waveform recording, configurable logging, alarms, dual Ethernet, RS485 and cybersecurity features.
The PM8000 Series is available in three feature levels: Essential, Standard and Advanced. Each level is available in multiple mounting and power supply variants, including 96 mm panel mount, DIN rail mount, DIN rail with remote display, AC/DC control power, LVdc control power and approval-specific variants.

Product Overview
PM8000 is designed for facilities that need more than basic kWh metering. It provides detailed electrical network visibility, power quality event capture, accurate energy measurement, demand monitoring, logging, alarms and communication flexibility.
PM8000 meters can be used as standalone panel meters, DIN rail meters with remote display, or integrated digital metering nodes in EcoStruxure Power Monitoring Expert, EMS, BMS, SCADA and IoTWatt 4.0 systems.
Positioning: Use Essential for cost-effective advanced metering, Standard for stronger PQ investigation, and Advanced for Class A PQ monitoring, flicker and higher diagnostic capability.

Typical Monitoring Architecture

Selection note: For Malaysia projects, the most common selections are normally AC/DC panel mount, DIN rail, or DIN rail with remote display. MID and RMICAN versions are mainly for markets or projects that specifically require those approvals.
