Process gas chromatograph RGC 704

You want to analyze the individual components of the gas composition of natural gas, biogas, gas from Power-2-Gas applications and their mixed gases? Our RGC 7 family - the new generation of the PGC - is available for this purpose. The gas components are processed in an analysis computer and used to calculate further values such as the calorific value, standard density, heating value and Wobbe index. A selection from the RGC 7 PGC family is approved for custody transfer by the PTB for the measurement of natural gas and biogas with the contents of O2 up to 3.8% and H2 up to 20%.

Gas chromatograph for measuring natural gas, biogas and mixed gas

The PGC family of the RGC 7 is a measurement update of the PGC 9300 family, which has now met the high requirements of customers and approval authorities for more than 10 years.

The first PGC in the RGC 7 family, the RGC 704, has had its PTB approval since July 2023 and is the legitimate successor to the PGC 9304. The RGC 704 has a hydrogen measuring range of up to 20 mol% and measures a total of 14 components.

Gas chromatographs:

PGC 9301: for natural gases (11 components)
PGC 9302: for biogas (9 components)
PGC 9303: for natural gas with hydrogen and oxygen (12 components)
PGC 9304: for natural gas containing hydrogen (up to 20 mol%), oxygen and helium (13 components)
For measuring the gas components (see table) and for calculating the calorific value, standard density, calorific value, Wobbe index and density ratio
The analysis system consists of the following components
- Transducer with 2 or 3 column modules
- Analysis computer with archives
Calorific value calculation according to ISO 6976 and GPA 2172

Multi-flow design for up to 2 gas flows
Calculation of the methane number (option)

PTB approval for natural gas and biogas
