NORRES PRO₂AIR® Pre-PUR 622 is a membrane tube diffuser for pressure diffusion with fine bubbles, oxygen input for nitrification in activation basins, and permanent or intermittent ventilation. Official applications also include oxygen input and circulation in fixed-bed and bioreactors, thorough mixing of activation basins, sand trap louvre ventilation, renaturation of lakes and rivers, aquaculture and fish farming.
The official diffuser wall is made from special premium polyurethane Pre-PUR® with an approximate wall thickness of 0.7 mm. NORRES specifies very good resistance to wastewater and municipal sewerage in accordance with DWA-M 115, together with microbe resistance, hydrolysis resistance and good resistance to oil, gasoline and chemicals.
NORRES states that PRO₂AIR® Pre-PUR 622 can reduce pressure loss compared with market-standard EPDM and silicone diffusers. The membrane does not contain a plasticizer, which NORRES states helps prevent curing over long operating periods. NORRES also specifies very fine and uniform bubble formation through optimized perforation.
The official operating range is 3 to 8 Nm³/(h*m aer.) under normal operation, with a minimum of 1 Nm³/(h*m aer.), a maximum of 15 Nm³/(h*m aer.) and a purging operation value of 18 Nm³/(h*m aer.). The official temperature range is from -40°C to +90°C.
Current standard variants have a size of 63 mm, an inside diameter of 64.5 mm and available lengths from 2 m to 50 m. Further diameters and lengths are available on request according to NORRES.
