Nippon Paint 5500 Wall Sealer is a high-performance water-based styrene acrylic sealer specifically formulated for interior and exterior masonry surfaces. This sealer is designed to provide excellent protection against alkalinity and efflorescence, preventing the degradation of the topcoat finish. Application Method: Apply using a high-quality Brush, Roller, or Conventional Air Spray.

Cleaning: Clean all painting equipment with clean water immediately after use.
Note: Ensure the surface is properly prepared and dry before application. Do not apply during wet weather or when humidity is extremely high.

Topcoat (2 Coats): Nippon Paint Interior or Exterior Products (e.g., Weatherbond, Vinilex, or Satin Glo).
For Repainting: Use 5500 Wall Sealer as a bridge between the old stable paint and the new topcoat to ensure better adhesion.
General Cleaning: Surfaces must be dry, clean, and free from dirt, grease, oil, and other foreign matter.
Defect Removal: Remove all loose or defective paint, powdery residues, dust, fungus, and algae by scraping or high-pressure water jetting.
Biological Treatment: Treat areas affected by fungus or algae growth with a suitable fungicidal wash solution.
Repair: Repair cracks and uneven surfaces with suitable masonry fillers and sand until smooth.
Moisture & Alkalinity: Ensure wall moisture content is below 16% (protimeter) and alkalinity is below pH 9 before application. New walls should be allowed to cure for at least 28 days.
