Nippon Paint Nipposeal Spartic Clear is a high-performance, two-component polyaspartic clear coating designed to provide ultimate protection and an aesthetic gloss finish for various floor and wall surfaces. Engineered with advanced polyaspartic technology, it offers exceptionally fast curing times, allowing for rapid return-to-service within the same day. This clear coat is characterized by its outstanding UV resistance, ensuring it does not yellow even when exposed to direct sunlight, making it ideal for both interior and exterior applications. It provides a tough, abrasion-resistant, and chemical-resistant film that protects substrates like decorative flakes, stamped concrete, and natural stone from heavy foot traffic and environmental weathering.
Paint Type: Solvent-based (Two-component)
Finishing: High Gloss
Mixing Ratio: 1 part Hardener to 1 part Base (by volume)

Touch Dry: 1 hour
Hard Dry: 3 – 4 hours
Recoating Interval: Minimum 2 hours / Maximum 24 hours
Theoretical Coverage: 8 – 10 m² per litre per coat (depending on surface porosity)
Shelf Life: Up to 12 months in original unopened containers
Application Method: Apply using a high-quality lint-free Roller, Squeegee, or Brush.
Mixing: Pour the Hardener into the Base container and mix thoroughly using a low-speed mechanical stirrer for 2 minutes until a homogenous mixture is achieved.
Dilution: Thinning is generally not recommended. If necessary, use only approved thinners as specified by the technical data sheet.
Cleaning: Clean all tools and application equipment with Thinner immediately after use.
Primer (If required): Nipposeal Spartic Primer or suitable Epoxy Primer.

Topcoat (1-2 Coats): Nipposeal Spartic Clear.
General Cleaning: The substrate must be completely dry, clean, and free from dust, oil, grease, and other contaminants.
Concrete Substrate: Ensure the concrete is fully cured (at least 28 days) with a moisture content below 4%. Remove laitance by captive shot blasting or mechanical grinding to achieve a suitable surface profile.
Existing Coatings: If applying over an existing coating, ensure the surface is intact, clean, and lightly sanded to promote mechanical adhesion.
Temperature: Do not apply if the ambient temperature is below 10°C or if the relative humidity exceeds 85%.
