Description

KTH 786 BLACK MATT is a single component high build, solvent-based alkyd, matt finishing enamel. It has fast drying time and gives smooth, very even matt finishing to painted surfaces. It is designed for wrought-iron grillwork. A suitable clear top-coat should be painted to protect 786 Black Matt for exterior weather-ability.

Uses

As an intermediate coat in a multi-coat coating system. Most suitable for use on wrought iron, steel, GI, and other surfaces. 

Surface Preparation

Previously painted surfaces and bare substrate must be completely dry and free from rust, mill scale, dirt, grease, and other contaminants before painting. For maximum adhesion and durability of paint performance, all bare surfaces should be prepared by meant of sandpaper, hand tools, power tools and etc.

Safety Precaution

1. This product is flammable.
2. Keep away from sources of ignition.
3. Keep container tightly closed and keep out of reach of children.
4. Wear suitable personal protective clothing during painting.
5. Ensure adequate ventilation.
6. Do not breathe or inhale spray mist.
7. Do not apply when the relative humidity exceeds 85%.
8. Avoid skin and eye contact. Spillage on the skin should be removed immediately with cleanser, soap, and water. The eye should be well flushed with water and seek medical advice immediately if discomfort persists.
