Description
Nitocote SN522 is a single component penetrating silane-siloxane system which penetrates into porous substrates and then reacts to produce a bonded hydrophobic lining to the pores. Although allowing passage of water vapour from the substrate it significantly reduced the absorption of water and water borne salts.
Nitocote SN522 does not discolour most substrates and has excellent resistance to weathering.
Uses
Nitocote SN522 is a siliconate based surface water repellent and waterproofer for the invisible protection of brickwork, cement plaster, concrete etc., including limestone and chalks. It is particularly useful for dipping precast work, tiles etc.
Unlike the normally available silicone water repellents, Nitocote SN522 is suitable for application on damp surfaces.
