A brushless motor (BLDC motor) is an electric motor that operates without physical carbon brushes and mechanical commutators found in traditional brushed motors. Instead, brushless motors use electronic controllers to manage the switching of current within the motor windings, resulting in smoother, more efficient, and more reliable operation.

Brushless motors are widely used across modern industries due to their high performance, energy efficiency, low maintenance requirements, and long operational lifespan. Common applications include industrial automation, robotics, pumps, fans, compressors, CNC machinery, medical equipment, HVAC systems, and precision manufacturing equipment.

Compared to conventional brushed motors, brushless motors generate less friction and heat because there are no brushes making physical contact during operation.
