With excellent stain resistance and low VOC (Volatile Organic Compound) properties, it is an environmentally friendly choice that provides a healthy indoor environment while maintaining superior aesthetic appeal.
Paint Type: Water-based Interior Emulsion.
Finishing: Matt (Ultra-White).
Drying Time (at 30°C): Touch Dry in 20 minutes; Hard Dry in 1 hour.
Recocoating Interval: Minimum 2 hours between coats.
Theoretical Coverage: 10 – 12 m² per litre per coat (depending on surface porosity).
Volume Solids: Approximately 35% – 40%.
Shelf Life: Up to 36 months in a tightly sealed, unopened container.
Thinning: For normal use, thinning is not necessary. If required for workability on very porous surfaces, add a maximum of 5% clean water.
Mixing: Stir the paint thoroughly with a clean agitator or paddle before use to ensure a consistent white tone and smooth texture.
Method: Apply using a high-quality long-handle roller for ceilings or a synthetic brush for "cutting in" edges. Apply 2 coats for the most uniform, high-opacity finish.
For New Concrete/Ceiling Boards:
Sealer/Primer: 1 coat of Nippon Paint 5100 Wall Sealer or Aqua Sealer (to prevent chalking and alkali attack).
Finish: 2 coats of Nippon Paint Perfect White.
For Repainting (Sound Surfaces):
Finish: 2 coats of Nippon Paint Perfect White directly (if the old paint is in good condition and non-chalky).
Cleaning: Ensure the surface is structurally sound, clean, and free from dust, oil, grease, and other contaminants.
Moisture Content: Ensure the ceiling or wall is thoroughly dry. New masonry should be allowed to cure for at least 28 days (moisture content below 16% via Protimeter).
Fungus/Algae Removal: Treat any areas affected by mold or fungus with Nippon Paint Fungicidal Wash. Scrape off dead growth and rinse with water.
Crack Filling: Repair minor cracks and surface defects with a suitable interior grade filler (such as Nippon Paint Putty) and sand smooth before priming.
Chalking Surfaces: If the old paint is powdery (chalking), it must be removed by high-pressure water jetting or wire brushing, followed by a coat of oil-based Wall Sealer to bind the surface.
