Topcoat: 2–3 coats of Hydro Metallic.
For Wood & Metal:
Primer: 1 coat of Nippon Hydro Wood & Metal Primer.
Topcoat: 2–3 coats of Hydro Metallic.
For Special Surfaces (Aluminium/Galvanized):
Primer: 1 coat of Etching Primer 120, followed by 1 coat of Hydro Primer.
Topcoat: 2–3 coats of Hydro Metallic.
General Cleanliness: Ensure the surface is dry, stable, and free from dirt, grease, oil, or wax.
Masonry Care: For new walls, ensure moisture content is below 16% and alkalinity is below pH 9. Remove all loose or powdery residue.
Old Paint/Contaminants: Scrape off flaking paint. Treat areas affected by fungus or algae with a fungicidal wash solution and allow to dry completely.
Repairing Defects: Patch cracks and uneven spots with a suitable filler (like EasySKIM 5000). Sand the area smooth before priming.
Metal/Wood Sanding: For metal, remove rust or mill scale by wire brushing or sanding. For wood, lightly sand the surface to improve mechanical bond/adhesion.
