Thinning: Ready for use. If thinning is necessary for very porous surfaces, dilute with a maximum of 5% clean water.
Post-Application Cleaning: All tools and equipment should be cleaned thoroughly with clean water immediately after use.
Sealer (1 Coat): Hi-Bond Wall Sealer.
Topcoat (2 Coats): Nippon Paint Interior or Exterior Emulsion (e.g., Weatherbond, Satin Glo, Vinilex, or Odour-less AirCare).
General Cleaning: Surfaces must be dry and free from dirt, grease, oil, wax, and other contaminants that may hinder adhesion.
Substrate Condition: Ensure the wall moisture content is below 16% (measured by protimeter) and the alkalinity level is below pH 9.
Treatment of Infestations: Areas affected by mold, lichen, algae, or fungus must be treated with Nippon Fungicidal Wash and allowed to dry completely before sealing.
Repair of Imperfections: Use a suitable masonry filler or putty to patch cracks or holes. Sand the area smooth and remove dust before applying the sealer.
Chalky/Powdery Surfaces: Remove all loose or unstable paint film by high-pressure water jetting or vigorous wire brushing. The Hi-Bond Sealer is specifically designed to lock down any remaining fine chalk particles.
