Preparation: Stir the Cloud Pearl glaze thoroughly before use. Ensure your colored base coat is completely dry (at least 4 hours after the second coat).
Application Method: Use the specialized Momento Synthetic Brush to apply the glaze in a "criss-cross" motion, spreading the pearlescent pigments to create a soft, cloud-like pattern.
Refining: After 10–15 minutes of drying, use the brush to gently "nudge" the pigments and granules into a soft, blended look before the paint sets.
Sealer (1 Coat): Nippon Interior Wall Sealer (for new or porous walls).
Base Coat (2 Coats): Nippon Momento Primer or a premium emulsion like Nippon Odour-less AirCare in your preferred color.
Finish Coat (1 Coat): Momento® Cloud Pearl.
Base Coat Quality: Ensure the underlying base coat is uniform in color and completely free of patches, streaks, or visible brush marks.
Cleanliness: The wall surface must be dry and free from dust, oil, grease, or any contaminants that could interfere with the glaze's adhesion.
Smoothness: Fill any cracks or imperfections with a suitable interior putty and sand smooth before applying the base coat.
Alkalinity Check: Ensure the wall is fully cured with a pH level below 9 and moisture content below 16% to protect the pearlescent finish.
Environment Control: Apply in a dust-free environment with good ventilation to ensure the "cloud" effect dries with maximum clarity and sheen.
