The TS A3S is the perfect rust-proof alternative to galvanized steel beads. Application Instruction

• Measurement: Measure the corner height and cut the PVC bead to size using a fine-toothed saw or snips. .

• Fixing: Apply "dabs" of mortar or adhesive to the corner of the substrate at 300mm intervals.

• Alignment: Press the bead firmly into the adhesive dabs. Use a spirit level to ensure the profile is perfectly vertical and aligned with the wall plane.

• Bonding: Ensure the mortar squeezes through the 18mm hexagonal holes; this "keys" the bead to the wall for a permanent bond.

• Finishing: Apply the plaster or render coat. Use the 2.0mm nose as a guide for your trowel to ensure a consistent 20mm thickness across the wall surface.

Recommended Coating System

• Substrate: 110mm Thick Brick or Concrete Block.

• Base Layer: 20mm Cement Plaster or Exterior Render.

• Intermediate Layer: Skim coat (optional for smooth interior finishes).
• Final Layer: Masonry paint, emulsion, or protective weather-shield coatings.

Surface Preparation

• Clean the Base: Ensure the brickwork is free of loose mortar, dust, oil, and debris.

• Check Alignment: Knock off any protruding bricks or mortar joints that might interfere with the flat seating of the bead wings.

• Pre-Dampening: For optimal adhesion in dry conditions, lightly spray the corner of the brickwork with water before applying the adhesive dabs to prevent the mortar from "burning" (drying too fast).
