Nippon Paint 8100 Weatherbond® Sealer Colour Enhancer is a high-performance, water-based acrylic sealer specifically formulated to enhance the color vibrancy of exterior topcoats. This latex-rich sealer provides an excellent foundation by improving the hiding power of the subsequent paint layers, ensuring a richer and more uniform finish. It is engineered with superior alkaline and efflorescence resistance, protecting the paint film from unsightly white salty patches and discoloration caused by wall moisture. Additionally, it offers excellent adhesion and water resistance, making it the ideal primer for premium exterior masonry surfaces. As a "Green Choice" product, it is low in VOC and low in odor, making it environmentally friendly and safe for application.

Application Method: Apply using a high-quality Brush or Roller.
Dilution: Ready for use after thorough stirring. If thinning is required for workability, dilute with no more than 5% clean water.
Cleaning: Clean all painting equipment with clean water immediately after use.
Note: Ensure the surface is dry and clean before application. Do not apply during wet weather or when humidity is extremely high.

Topcoat (2 Coats): Nippon Paint Premium Exterior Products (e.g., Weatherbond Ultimate, Weatherbond Quartz, or Weatherbond Solareflect Extreme).
General Cleaning: Surfaces must be dry, clean, and free from dirt, grease, oil, and other foreign matter.
Defect Removal: Remove all loose or defective paint, powdery residues, dust, fungus, and algae by scraping or high-pressure water jetting.
Biological Treatment: Treat areas affected by fungus or algae growth with a suitable fungicidal wash solution.
Repair: Repair cracks and uneven surfaces with suitable exterior-grade fillers and sand until smooth.
Moisture & Alkalinity: Ensure wall moisture content is below 16% (protimeter) and alkalinity is below pH 9 before application. New walls should be allowed to cure for at least 28 days.
Spot Priming: Spot prime any repaired or bare areas with 8100 Weatherbond Sealer Colour Enhancer.
