Nippon Paint 9000 Aluminium Wood Primer is a high-quality solvent-based primer specifically formulated for use on softwoods and hardwoods. It contains aluminum flakes which provide a highly leafing effect, creating a robust barrier that prevents the bleeding of resin and tannins from the wood into the subsequent paint layers. This specialty primer is designed to offer excellent water resistance and moisture protection, ensuring the longevity of the topcoat even in humid conditions. It provides an ideal foundation for both interior and exterior woodwork, including doors, window frames, and fences, by improving the adhesion of undercoats and finishing paints.
