Finishing: High-performance colored finish
Color: Available in various sports-standard colors
Recommended Number of Coats: 2 – 3 coats
Thinning: Maximum 5% water
Touch Dry: 30 minutes
Hard Dry: 2 hours
Recoating Interval: Minimum 6 – 8 hours
Filled system (Roll application): 0.23 – 0.33 L/m² per coat
Filled system (Trowel/Squeegee): 0.50 – 1.00 L/m² per coat
Application Surfaces: Concrete floors, asphalt, and recreational surfaces.
Application Method: Apply using a Roller, Trowel, or Squeegee depending on the desired system thickness.
Mixing: Stir the paint thoroughly before use. If using a filled system, ensure quartz aggregates are mixed evenly to maintain a uniform texture.
Dilution: Ready for use. If necessary, thin with a maximum of 5% clean water to adjust workability.
Cleaning: Clean all tools and equipment with clean water immediately after use.
Environment: Ensure the surface temperature is above 10°C and the environment is well-ventilated. Do not apply if rain is imminent.
Primer: Aqua Primer Sealer or compatible water-based epoxy primer.
Finishing (2-3 Coats): Nippon Paint Floorsports 1K Epoxy Hybrid.
Texture (Optional): Can be filled with quartz sand for enhanced slip resistance and thickness.
General Cleaning: Surfaces must be structurally sound, clean, dry, and free from oil, grease, curing compounds, and loose materials.
Substrate Moisture: Ensure the concrete substrate is fully cured (minimum 28 days) and the moisture content is below 6% (using a Protimeter) or as per technical recommendations.
Mechanical Preparation: For optimal adhesion, surfaces should be prepared by light grinding or captive shot blasting to remove laitance and open the pores of the concrete.
Cracks/Repairs: Repair all cracks, holes, and surface defects using a compatible epoxy filler or patch repair mortar before coating.
Cleaning: Vacuum or sweep the surface thoroughly to remove all dust and debris after mechanical preparation.
