High-Volume, Low-Speed (HVLS) fans are the first line of defense against surface condensation.
The Physics: By keeping a massive volume of air in constant motion, HVLS fans increase the "Evaporation Rate" at the floor level. This prevents moisture from settling on cold concrete slabs or metal racking.
Standard fans bring in wet KL air. An ERV uses a desiccant-coated "Enthalpy Wheel" to strip moisture from incoming fresh air.
The Process: As humid outside air passes through the wheel, the moisture is transferred to the outgoing exhaust air. This allows you to achieve the required Air Change Rate (ACR) without "soaking" your warehouse.
