The Festo VTSA-ASI valve terminal combines up to 32 pneumatic valves with a common pneumatic and electrical supply via AS-Interface bus communication . Conforming to ISO 15407-2 and ISO 5599-2 standards, this vertical stacking valve terminal allows five different valve sizes (18 mm, 26 mm, 42 mm, 52 mm, and 65 mm) to be combined on one terminal . The AS-Interface enables simultaneous transmission of data and power through a simple 2-wire cable, significantly simplifying wiring in distributed automation systems .
