Product Overview
The PowerLogic PM800 Series was designed to provide accurate three-phase power and energy measurement in a compact panel meter format. It supports monitoring of voltage, current, power, energy, power factor, frequency, demand, total harmonic distortion, alarms and logs depending on the selected model and accessories.
The range was commonly used for electrical network monitoring, power quality review, energy cost allocation, demand management, equipment-level metering and power monitoring software integration. Many existing facilities still have PM800 meters installed and connected to EMS, BMS, SCADA or PowerLogic monitoring systems.
Legacy product note: The PM800 Series is a legacy Schneider Electric meter family. For new projects, review current replacement models such as PowerLogic PM5500 / PM5000 series or PM8000 series depending on the application, power quality requirement and communication architecture.
Typical Monitoring Architecture
PM800 meters are installed at electrical panels and communicate through RS485 Modbus, or through an optional Ethernet communication module depending on site configuration. Existing data can be integrated into EMS, BMS, SCADA, Power Monitoring Expert, gateway systems or IoTWatt 4.0.
