Bachelor of Multimedia (Hons)(Advertising Design) is offered by Multimedia University (MMU) as a 3-year programme at the Cyberjaya campus, taught fully in English. The course focuses on advertising design and brand communication, covering web design, experiential brand activation, 3D modelling and printing, video and mobile app development, media culture and aesthetics, so you can manage the full advertising design pipeline from concept to execution.
The curriculum covers Advertising Design 1 & 2, Web Design, Experiential Brand Activation, 3D Modelling and Printing, Internet and Mobile Application, Video Production, Mobile App Design and Development, Media Culture & Media Aesthetics, then advances to Advertising Design 3 & 4, Audio Visual for Advertising, Video Production for Advertising, Integrated Marketing Communication, Digital Marketing, Multimodal Interaction Design, Sound Design 1 and Semiotic Studies.
In the final year, students complete Advertising Design Project 1 & 2, Interactive Technology for Advertising, Design Research, Sound Design 2, Media Law and Media Anthropology, followed by the Internship Programme. Graduates can pursue careers as Art Directors, Designers, Managers in Publications, Corporate and Communication Departments, Advertising Agencies, Design Houses, Production Houses and Retailers.
