Courses (overview)

• The Social Work (Chinese-taught) undergraduate programme (4 years) is delivered in Chinese and covers introduction to sociology, introduction to social work, social psychology, casework in social work, group social work, community social work, social work practice, social work ethics, introduction to social policy, and social survey and research methods, building foundations in social work practice, casework, group and community services, and social policy applications through coursework and projects (aligned with “Core subjects” and the application process below; modules follow programme notices).

Career pathways (overview)

• Graduates may pursue roles in introduction to sociology and social work, casework group and community social work, social work practice and ethics, and social policy and survey research, including social work assistant, casework assistant, community service assistant, and social organisation assistant, subject to employers’ requirements and recruitment policies.
• They may also pursue further postgraduate study in social work, sociology, public administration, and related social science MA/PhD programmes, subject to admissions.
