Before you come
- Burn off some energy first. A short walk or play session beforehand helps a dog arrive calmer and more relaxed.
- Get them used to being handled. In everyday life, gently touch your pet's paws and ears so being handled feels normal by grooming day.
- Build a positive association at home. Brush your pet for short sessions at home and pair it with praise or a treat, so grooming feels like a good thing.
- Don't force out severe mats yourself. If your pet has bad tangles, don't try to cut them out at home — let our team handle it safely.
- Tell us about any health conditions. Let us know about any medical issues, sensitivities or past behaviour so we can care for your pet properly.
How it works at Season Pet Shop
- No vaccination certificate required. You don't need to bring vaccination proof to book a groom with us.
- Minimum age: 2 months. We accept pets from 2 months old.
- Appointment or walk-in — both are welcome. You can book ahead or simply walk in.
- We recommend reserving a slot — but please note what that means. Reserving a slot is not a fixed appointment time. When you arrive, you'll still take your turn in the queue. What reserving does is guarantee that we will definitely get your dog or cat done that day — so you won't be turned away even on a busy day.
- Extra care for nervous or senior pets. If your pet is anxious or older, we handle them with special care and patience. And if we genuinely can't safely complete the groom, we'll let you know rather than push through — your pet's safety always comes first.
