Abdul Halim Aman Appointed New MACC Chief Effective May 2026

KUALA LUMPUR – Datuk Seri Abdul Halim Aman has been appointed as the new Chief Commissioner of the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC), with his tenure set to begin on May 13, 2026.

The appointment was made with the consent of the Yang di-Pertuan Agong following a recommendation submitted by Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim.

Abdul Halim Aman will take over the role from Azam Baki, whose contract is scheduled to end on May 12, 2026.
