ESP Global Awards Dinner 2026: Building a Regional Real Estate Community Beyond Competition

PETALING JAYA (April 14): Regional real estate platform ESP Global Services Sdn Bhd marked its fourth anniversary with the ESP Global Awards Dinner 2026, gathering industry leaders, business partners, agents and stakeholders under the theme “Better Than The Rest.”

Held at the Bangsar Connexion Ballroom, the event celebrated the company’s transformation from a traditional real estate platform into a people-centric ecosystem. Today, ESP Global operates more than 50 offices and supports a growing network of over 6,000 agents across Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesia.

As part of its regional expansion strategy, the company revealed plans to enter Thailand and other ASEAN markets, reinforcing its ambition to scale its presence beyond Malaysia’s increasingly competitive property landscape.

The awards night saw more than 250 recognitions presented, including the prestigious Over 20 Million Dollar Awards, honouring top-performing agents and business leaders for their resilience, consistency and excellence in navigating evolving market conditions.

Founder and CEO Aldrin Tan emphasised that ESP Global’s long-term vision goes beyond conventional brokerage growth. The company aims to expand its agent network to over 10,000 by 2027, while continuing to focus on value creation, ownership opportunities and raising professional standards across its ecosystem.

What I Learned

This event highlights a key shift in the real estate industry—success today is no longer just about transactions, but about building a scalable, people-driven ecosystem. Companies like ESP Global are moving towards community-building, where agents are not just salespeople but stakeholders in a larger platform.

Another important takeaway is the increasing regionalisation of real estate businesses. Expanding beyond Malaysia into ASEAN markets such as Thailand reflects how property platforms are leveraging cross-border opportunities to drive growth, especially as local markets become more saturated.

Finally, the emphasis on recognition and performance culture shows how motivation and structured incentives play a crucial role in scaling agent networks. By rewarding excellence and fostering ownership, companies can retain talent and maintain consistent productivity in a highly competitive industry.
