From 14 to 16 April 2026, Belia Mahir (TVET For All) successfully organized the Jelajah TVET 2026 roadshow across several secondary schools in Kelantan as part of its ongoing commitment to strengthening the transition from education to employment through the “Sekolah ke Kerjaya” initiative.
The program involved visits to SMK Tumpat, SMK Dato’ Biji Wangsa, SMK Geting, SMK Kutan, SMK Sungai Pinang, and SMK Chabang Empat. Throughout the three-day engagement, students were exposed to the importance of Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) as a strategic pathway toward developing industry-relevant skills and building sustainable professional careers.
The initiative aimed to increase awareness of career opportunities within the TVET ecosystem while encouraging students to explore vocational and technical fields aligned with current industry demands. Interactive sessions and career guidance activities were conducted to provide students with greater clarity on post-SPM pathways, future workforce requirements, and the value of hands-on technical competencies.
In addition to student engagement, the program also strengthened collaboration between educational institutions and industry-focused training initiatives, supporting the shared goal of producing a highly skilled and future-ready workforce.
Belia Mahir (TVET For All) extends its appreciation to all participating schools, teachers, and students for their cooperation and enthusiastic participation throughout the roadshow. The success of Jelajah TVET 2026 reflects a continued collective effort toward empowering Malaysian youth through quality technical and vocational education.
